The ticking blends wool, silk, and viscose for breathability and softness, starting to condition the microclimate at first contact and guiding the comfort level from the moment you lie down.
Beneath the surface, the upholstery builds in resilience and moisture regulation with British fleece wool, then the long, naturally crimped Moosburger® horsetail to resist compression and preserve loft. Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere provides a finer, softer transition layer that moderates temperature without trapping heat, followed by a core of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton for body and absorptive capacity. The two-layer hand-nested vanadium steel calico pocket springs (3,296 in King) respond independently to weight and movement, while a coir and wool border and four rows of hand side-stitching strengthen the perimeter and extend the usable sleep surface. Each mattress is hand-tufted with woollen tufts and twine to compress the fillings into a stable, consistent depth at every tuft point.
